Benefits for Designers
Configurability:
With chameleon-like configurability, Evolution’s stylish control plates change colour to match your décor, your client’s preferences or control schema. Plate facias are available in four styles (brushed stainless steel, polished chrome or brass and white) with black or white buttons. Select from a wide range of colours for both the LCD backlights and button LEDs.
Printed Reports:
Save time by printing a complete set of reports directly from Evolution including equipment inventories, channel allocation, scene settings and control allocation.
Words, Not Numbers:
Your system will be easy to understand, as all devices, channels and even plate buttons can be assigned text descriptions, rather than numbers. No longer do you have to ask for “channel 17 up 5%”, but you can instead refer directly to “hallway down-lights”.
Versatility:
Time-saving features enhance your productivity. For example is your client decides to change a 5-button switch plate for a 10-button LCD plate all you need is one mouse-click to make this amendment in the software.
Save Time-Sophistication Doesn’t Mean Complication:
The simple drag&drop-based configuration software enables you to set up intricate systems very quickly.
“Architainment”-Ready:
Every Evolution Power and Processor pack includes a built-in DMX generator, making the system ready to connect directly to moving-lights or colour mixing systems without the need for additional hardware. Programming of DMX channels and moving lights is seamlessly integrated into the configuration environment.
Security:
Configurations may be password protected to protect your designs.
Plates may be “locked” using passwords without requiring key-switches.
Ease of Use:
Sophistication Doesn’t Mean Complication. Configuration of the Evolution system is intuitive, enabling a lighting designer or consultant to program an entire system or allowing a client to edit lighting scenes without requiring the attendance of a specialised engineer.
Design Re-Use:
Leverage the work from one project to another with the ability to save templates of DMX and RS232 peripherals and re-load them into new system designs.
